Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time for Char Dham Yatra?
The Char Dham temples open in May (Akshaya Tritiya) and close in November (Diwali / Bhai Dooj). The best months are May–June (before monsoon) and September–October (after monsoon, clearer skies). Avoid peak July–August monsoon if possible due to landslide risk.
Can elderly or senior citizens do this yatra comfortably?
Yes. Our drivers are experienced with senior pilgrim groups. For Kedarnath, ponies, dolis (palanquins) and helicopter services are available at additional cost. Yamunotri and Gangotri have manageable treks with pony options too.
Is the price per person or per car?
All prices are per car, not per person. A group of 6–7 in an Innova Crysta makes this very cost-effective per person compared to tour buses. The more people in the car, the cheaper it gets per head.
Do you help with accommodation bookings along the route?
We primarily provide car with driver service. However, we can recommend reliable hotels, dharamshalas and GMVN guesthouses along the Char Dham route. Booking in advance is strongly recommended especially in peak season (May–June).
Can we customize the number of days?
Absolutely. Some groups do the Char Dham in 12–14 days with a more relaxed pace and additional stops like Auli, Chopta or Tungnath. Others complete it in 10 days at a faster pace. We plan according to your preference.
