About This Package

Haridwar and Rishikesh are two of India's most sacred cities, sitting side by side where the Ganges emerges from the Himalayas onto the plains. Haridwar — the gateway to the gods — is famous for the nightly Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, one of the most moving spiritual experiences in all of India. Rishikesh, the Yoga capital of the world, combines temples, adventure sports, and the calming flow of the holy river.

Just 230 km from Delhi, this is our most popular short trip — accessible as a weekend getaway. Our drivers know the best times to visit Har Ki Pauri for the Aarti, the hidden riverside ghats, and the quieter ashram routes away from the tourist crowds.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1
Delhi — Haridwar
Depart Delhi early morning. Drive via NH58 through Meerut and Muzaffarnagar (230 km). Arrive Haridwar by noon. Check in, then visit Har Ki Pauri ghat — the most sacred spot in Haridwar. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best time to visit Haridwar and Rishikesh?
October to March is the most pleasant — cool weather, clear skies, and manageable crowds. Avoid July–September (peak monsoon) when river levels rise and some ghats get flooded. March–April (Holi / Navratri period) is especially vibrant but very crowded. The Ganga Aarti is beautiful year-round.
What time is the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri?
The Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri happens every evening at sunset — typically around 6:00 PM in winter and 7:00 PM in summer. Morning Aarti (Pratah Aarti) is at sunrise. We time our arrival to ensure you don't miss the evening ceremony. Arriving 30–45 minutes early for a good spot is recommended.
Is the price per person or per car?
All our prices are per car, not per person. So whether you're 2 or 6 people in the car, the price remains the same — making it very economical for families and pilgrim groups travelling together.
Can we combine Haridwar with Mussoorie or Char Dham?
Absolutely. Mussoorie is just 77 km from Rishikesh — a natural add-on. Haridwar and Rishikesh are also the traditional starting points for the Char Dham Yatra (Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath). We can plan a combined 7–12 day itinerary. Just call us and we'll customize it for you.
Can we do white-water rafting in Rishikesh?
Yes. Rishikesh is North India's premier rafting destination — Grade II to Grade IV rapids depending on the stretch you choose. The season runs September to June. Your driver will drop you at the rafting point and pick you up downstream. Rafting is not included in the package price and must be booked separately with local operators at the site.
